Born in New Zealand but raised in Jamaica, I have been drawing from as long as I can remember and have wanted to be an artist from a very young age, always having been encouraged and supported by my amazing parents. I am a graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA) in Jamaica, where I pursued a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in the department of Visual Communication, majoring in Illustration. I graduated as Valedictorian in 2011.
My aim as an artist is to use concepts and media that are able to inspire and enlighten persons about the society or world around us, whether it is a social commentary on current or past affairs or an optimistic reflection of a physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual state. I seek to leave a positive impact within each individual that interacts with or enagages my work.
